Poetic Rambling: Free Verse

I really like you and you like me too
There's something about you that makes you different
You're nice, kind, sweet and you make me laugh
I think about you, before I go to sleep
Whenever I think about you it makes me smile.

It's been a few weeks since I've seen you
And I miss you a lot. I want to see you
So much has happened since,
The last time we saw each other,
We've both found out we liked each other

When I talk to you, I get these butterflies
Butterflies in my tummy and it's not funny
I can't help it, I feel so different now.
It's not a bad feeling, it's a good one
I don't want to lose you now

I haven't ever felt this way before
This feeling is so new to me.
But I like this feeling,
Sometimes it doesn't feel real.
But then I talk to you and I know it is

I never thought you would like me back,
But there was always this hope I had.
Then my dream came true, you liked me back.
I don't want to get hurt though,
And I am scared that maybe I will.

But I still have these feelings for you,
I don't know if anything will change that.
I don't want to expect anything
And then be disappointed in the end
But maybe something will happen with us

Is it too early to fall for you?
If I fall for you, would you catch me?
Because I don't want to fall for you
And lose everything because you didn't catch me

But I like you now and you like me...
And maybe that's the way it's meant to be
"I like you" is never too early to say
But you never know what can happen.
