Death To Life

The old man died yesterday

Of pain and terminal cancer

The old man was put away

Yet not without an answer

The old man clothed with shame

So weak and frail for life

The old man destitute and lame

Too blind to see in light

The new man arose indeed

In Christ he lives and moves

The new man unbattered and free

Full of wonders and proves

The new man clothed with the sun

Too powerful for death

The new man image of the son

Full of heaven on earth
